Our reactor is a specialized, safety-engineered vessel designed for conducting chemical reactions involving volatile, flammable, or hazardous materials under controlled temperature and pressure/vacuum conditions.
Highlights:
Explosion-Proof Electricals: The motors, control boxes, and all electrical connections are designed to be explosion-proof. This design means they can contain any internal spark or explosion, preventing ignition of surrounding flammable gases or vapors.
High-Quality Borosilicate Glass: The main vessel and associated glassware are constructed from high borosilicate glass 3.3, which offers excellent thermal shock resistance, high transparency for visual monitoring, and superior resistance to a wide range of corrosive acids and solvents.
Jacketed Design: The vessel has a double-layer (or sometimes three-layer) jacket. A heat transfer fluid (like oil or water) is circulated through this jacket via an external heater/chiller to precisely control the internal reaction temperature, from a wide range like -80°C to 250°C.
Sealed Systems: The reactor features advanced, solvent-resistant PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) seals on all components, including the stirring shaft and valves. This prevents the escape of volatile vapors and ensures a high vacuum can be maintained.
Robust Framework: Heavy-duty stainless steel (SUS 304) or coated aluminum alloy supporting frames are used to provide stability and durability, often with lockable casters for mobility.
Certifications: Reputable models often carry international safety certifications like ATEX, IECEx, or ETL listing to UL and CSA standards, ensuring compliance with strict regulatory requirements for hazardous locations.
