Our ultra pure water purifier is a highly specialized laboratory instrument designed to produce Type I water, the highest grade of purified water available. This water is virtually free of contaminants and posses a specific resistivity of 18.2 MΩ·cm at 25°C, Bacteria/Microorganisms < 1 CFU/ml, TOC < 5 ppb.

Key steps:

1. Pre-filtration: Initial filters remove sediment, large particles, and chlorine from the incoming water.

2. Reverse Osmosis (RO): A semi-permeable membrane removes the majority (up to 99%) of dissolved salts, organic molecules, and biological contaminants like bacteria.

3. Deionization (DI) / Ion Exchange: Mixed-bed ion exchange resins capture the final trace ions, "polishing" the water to reach maximum resistivity.

4. UV Photo-oxidation: A dual-wavelength UV lamp (185/254 nm) is used to destroy trace organic compounds, reducing the Total Organic Carbon (TOC) level to less than 5 ppb, and also disinfects the water.

5. Final Filtration / Ultrafiltration (UF): A point-of-use 0.22 µm filter or UF membrane removes any remaining fine particulates, microorganisms, endotoxins, and nucleases.
