Manganese Packerizing, 25 kg, SANCHE®

Our Parkerizing solution is used to protect steel and iron surfaces from corrosion and increase their wear resistance. Unlike paint, it is an electrochemical reaction that etches a crystalline phosphate layer directly into the metal surface. Our product application improves wear resistance, corrosion protection, and oil absorption.

Common process steps:

1.) Surface Preparation: The part must be completely degreased and then sandblasted or bead-blasted to expose bare metal and create a textured surface for better chemical bonding.

2.) Chemical Bath: The cleaned part is submerged in a heated solution (typically 180°F to 210°F) containing our chemicals.

3.) Reaction: The immersion usually lasts 15 to 45 minutes, or until the chemical bubbling (fizzing) stops, indicating the conversion is complete.

4.) Rinse & Oil: After removal, the part is rinsed in water to stop the chemical reaction and immediately coated in a water-displacing oil. The porous phosphate layer absorbs the oil, which provides the final layer of rust protection.

Applications:

1.) Military: Widely used by the military for its non-reflective, durable, and oil-absorbent qualities.

2.) Automotive: Used on gears, camshafts, and fasteners to reduce friction during "break-in" periods and prevent galling.

3.) Industrial Tools: Applied to sockets and heavy-duty machinery parts to provide a rugged, slip-resistant, and corrosion-proof finish.
