Chrome electroplating is an electrochemical process that applies a thin layer of chromium to a metal surface in an electrolyte bath. Our chromium electrolyte is Cr(VI)-free simple handling, increased worker safety and can produce a high corrosion resistance material with the trendsetting design options for decorative applications.

Common process steps:

1.) Preparation: Parts undergo rigorous cleaning, degreasing, and polishing to ensure the finish is flawless.

2.) Activation: Our etch solution prepares the surface at a microscopic level for better adhesion.

3.) Electro-Deposition: The cathode part is submerged in a chromic acid bath. When current is applied, chromium ions bond to the metal.

4.) Rinsing: Residual chemicals are removed in multiple rinse stages to prevent staining.
