Our blue ocean liquid is a powerful, low-cost algaecide often used to clear stubborn green, mustard, or black algae that chlorine might miss. It can leave fresh blue color in the pool.
Dosage steps:
1.) Check Alkalinity First: Do not use the product if Total Alkalinity is below 50 ppm. The ideal range for treatment is 80 - 120 ppm. 2.) Dosage: A common reference dose is 1 tablespoon per 1,000 gallons of water to reach a concentration of 1.0 ppm.
3.) Waiting Period: While some sources say you can swim once it disperses, many experts recommend waiting 24 hours to ensure even distribution and to avoid skin/eye irritation.
